INDIA'S MOST STUNNING SUNRISE SPOTS

 1. Tiger Hill

From Tiger Hill, Mount Everest (8848 m) is just visible. Kanchenjunga (8598 m) looks higher than Mt. Everest, owing to the curvature of the Earth, as it is several miles closer than Everest. The distance in a straight line from Tiger Hill to Everest is 107 miles (172 km).
On a clear day, Kurseong is visible to the south and in the distance, along with Teesta River, Mahananda River, Balason River and Mechi River meandering down to the south. Chumal Rhi mountain of Tibet, 84 miles (135 km) away, is visible over the Chola Range
Senchel Wildlife Sanctuary is close to Tiger Hill.

2. Nubra Valley

Known for its orchards, scenic vistas, Bactrian camels and monasteries; Nubra Valley is the northernmost part of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated about 150 km from Leh, Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers.

3. Kanyakumari

Watching the sunset at the southernmost tip of India is a sight to behold. Kanyakumari is at the confluence of the Indian ocean, Arabian sea and the Bay of Bengal. It's the only place in India where you can see both the sunrise and sunset at the same spot.

4. Kovalam Beach

Relax on the shoreline of the peaceful Kovalam Beach as you get a view of the most beautiful sunset of Kerala. About 16 km away from Thiruvananthapuram, this is one of the finest beaches in Kerala. There is a lighthouse which can be visited every day from 3 pm to 5 pm.
